SIT DOWN SUNDAYS, APRIL 9th 2006 @ LANDOR PUB, CLAPHAM NORTH
I’ll be doing ten minutes of a (kind of) new character: General Tony, a furious alien. I say (kind of) because as I mentioned before on this site, he started life as part of The TakeoverTV sci-fi special, which Joe and I did back in 1996. Most of my characters either shout a lot or play a song badly on the guitar but this one does both, so I’m very excited! It’ll be the first time I’ve ever done the routine, which is all-new apart from one joke at the beginning so it may well suck the pips out of an apple but I want to try it out before doing it again at The Out Of Focus Group.
