NEW ADAM & JOE COKE NEW MUSIC PODCAST OUT NOW!!!

If you were a fan of our Xfm podcasts I think you’ll be delighted with episode 6 of The Adam & Joe Coke New Music Podcast, available FREE on I-tunes (type in ‘coke new music’) or visit The Coke website here.

To recap: these are shows of around 45 minutes, which showcase music by unsigned bands from around Europe who have loaded their songs onto the website. The first few of shows were kind of dull and the music selection was often not good but podcast 4, 5 and 6 have all been proper, with Joe and I being allowed to ramble indulgently between music selections (from various specially selected European music geniuses), which are in my opinion, getting better and better. People have been ignoring this podcast so far because it’s monthly and easy to forget about, and I think those that tuned in for the first few understandably assumed we were just taking the dirty corporate dollar and not really bothering with the show (hence a few negative comments on the I-tunes page) BUT THAT’S ALL CHANGED NOW!!! We’re taking the dirty corporate dollar and we ARE bothering with the show! So check them out.

At the very least they should tide you over until we’re back on the air or podcasting completely independently. I’m afraid to say we still don’t know exactly where and when that’ll be and high level talks with other powerful and evil media behemoths are still underway. We should have a giant bag of exciting news in the next couple of months… Now check out that podcast and if God forbid, you’ve never heard our Xfm podcast, get on to that ‘best of’ right now!!

Ooh I’m exhausted from typing ‘podcast’. Such a shit word. The whole world of pop culture is now cluttered with shit little words like ‘podcast’ and ‘deeveedee’ and ‘wap-phone’ and ‘blog’ and (MUCH worse) ‘vlog’. I wonder how many times that exact train of thought has resulted in a rubbish little article in some Sunday pull out? I would say twelve.
