BLOG INTRO
WHY DO I NEED BLOG?
OK, you’ve got me. I don’t really need a blog. I was inspired to do it for a couple of reasons. Firstly I was approached by a ‘fan’ (as she described herself) after a gig in early 2005 who said rather crossly, “I only just found out about this the other day!” as if I was some kind of bastard for not ringing her up and letting her know personally what I’m doing from moment to moment. “You should let people know when you do a gig then they can come and see you. Why don’t you have a website?” I explained that it honestly never crossed my mind that anyone might give a flying dogshit about my professional meanderings. The angry ‘fan’ said that she knew lots of people who would be interested so I thought I would take her at her word and use this site to let people know what I’m up to from time to time.
Then it crossed my mind that this would also be a perfect place to show little bits and pieces of videos, photos and audio clips relating to things I’ve made on my own and with Joe, which, by their often fairly ephemeral nature, would otherwise disappear forever. Bits of our proper TV shows (The Adam & Joe Show & Adam & Joe Go Tokyo for example) are flying around You Tube and the such, but the bits I post on this blog will often not have done the rounds anywhere else before.
