GENERAL MESSAGES
People sometimes give me a hard time for not having a message board on this site. I love hearing from people and value constructive criticism as much as anyone but for me, reading then responding to messages on blogs and websites has got to be one of the worst uses of time ever. Most of the time nothing important gets said and once in a while you can get into creepy and offensive territory in a way that seems only to happen on-line. In the past I responded to the odd message on my You Tube channel but after a while that too became a minor bog of pointlessness so I’ve turned all that off. My dalliances with Facebook and MySpace were similarly brief. All those things ever represented to me were a trickle of requests to be friends with people I would never communicate with in any way thereafter, even if they were very nice or attractive (which nearly all of them were of course).
It’s all about this blog for me. Sometimes people tell me this site is rubbish and I should jazz it up but I haven’t the skills to really go to town and it’s non profit making so I don’t have the money to pay someone else. If you’re a young web genius and you don’t mind being paid peanuts to revamp this site, get in touch, but otherwise this is as good as it’s getting!
The best way to get in touch for whatever reason at all, professional or personal, is to write me a card or a letter, and as long as you’re not clearly insane and unpleasant I’ll get back to you as soon as possible. Don’t forget to include an SAE if you want to absolutely guarantee a response (e-mail and phone is no good to me really), although I can’t say how long it will take!
