WHAT IS ‘KERNEL PANIC’?

‘Kernel Panic’ was a live solo show that I started performing in late Summer 2013. A more accurate title than ‘Kernel Panic’ would have been ‘A Bit Like ‘BUG’ But Without Other People’s Music Vids Played In Full And With Additional Bits I’ve Done That You Wouldn’t Get At BUG’ but I thought ‘Kernel Panic’ was snappier.

Like my current live stuff I described the show as ‘like a funny TED talk’. It was me and my laptop and a screen, and I’d take the audience on a tour through the contents of various folders on my desktop. There were short videos I’d made (mostly from 2013 but some from further back), various internet comments I’d gathered, and other random buffoonery.

Here’s a review of one of the shows I did in London in 2013.

I don’t like to blow my own trumpet so I thought I’d include the worst review I could find. The others are so over the top with their praise and it’s just silly.
