Howdy. Podcast number 4 features a conversation I recorded with Jon Ronson (author of 'So You've Been Publicly Shamed', 'The Psychopath Test', 'The Men Who Stare At Goats' etc.) in March 2014 when I was in New York.
We talked about about dealing with criticism, Woody Allen, neuroses and other podcasts. Towards the end of the podcast is another, shorter conversation we conducted on Skype in October 2015, catching up with some of the responses to 'So You've Been Publicly Shamed'.
I also share and respond in details to a piece of well meaning (but brilliantly button pushing) criticism from a listener and unveil my new song about James Bond (called, cleverly, 'I Am James Bond'), which may or may not be considered unnecessary overkill... And yes, I know I lumped Dylan Moran in with those Brits. I'm very sorry.
Here are current links to some of the podcasts Jon and I mention in this episode (any other recommendations welcome):
And below is my Bond song as a separate downloadable file. Music: 'Sophisticated Hula' (from a CD I bought about 25 years ago called 'Beautiful Hawaii' Trad. Arr: H Dussen) I added some beats to it which I sampled from 'Walk The Earth' by King Biscuit Time.
