Adam talks with Kathy Burke (film and TV actor and theatre director/writer) about various moments in her career thusfar. Her erratic social networking behaviour is also discussed. STRONGEST OF LANGUAGE USED!
Just started to listening to the ABP and really enjoying it. This one in particular was bloody ace and I look forward to getting myself up to date.
I am a podcast virgin (seriously late in the game!!) and have just spent the morning listening to some of yours... Excellente! Really enjoyed this one with Kathy Burke and the one with Mark Riley - both have lovely voices to listen to. I agree with Kathy the C-word is awesome and there's nothing else like it in the English language. Really interesting stories from both. To be honest, your podcasts have seriously saved me from my really boring job. Thank you! Keep making them!
Hi Adam. Like Tom Smith I enjoyed the musical interludes too. What is the ambient-style one about half-way through? It sounds a bit like Jean-Michel Jarre, which is a good thing in my book. That aside, of course the chart with Kathy was fantastic. It made me realise how much I've missed her voice and presence now that she's moved away from acting.
ABsolutely loved it and felt so ignorant not knowing that Kathy Burke is more than a comedy actress; i only knew her from the harry enfield and chums days. Her stories were great, i could totally listen to another one. Was funny because you barely spoke :) I like the Buxlestons rambles :) Love the wee ramble chat jingley jongley jingle :)
Good day Adam, just wanted to say I really enjoy your podcast and love the medium. I like that you aren't too confrontational in your conversations and find your tone friendly and welcoming to both the guest and listener. I appreciate that. Hope you have a great week and keep doing a great job.

A note about Comments
Hello Podcats and Blog friends,
I wanted to let you know that comments have been disabled on the blog and the app for the time being. This is not because of anyone posting anything abusive or anything like that, but just because I seldom get round to moderating the stuff that comes in as promptly as I should, and rather than irritate people who don’t understand why their comment hasn’t been posted, I think it’s easier if I just switch them off. Sorry about that, but time is scarce and I’m disappointed to discover I can’t do everything! And if you’re one of the people who submitted a comment and it hasn’t been posted - sincere apologies.
