It's really great that you list all the refs and recommends from the podcast on this page, thanks! However listening again to pick them up would have been more of a pleasure than a chore.
I have to say of all the podcasts i subscribe to yours is the best for simultaneously stimulating thought and funny bones. The cerebral / belly-laugh balance is spot on. I always feel better for listening to your ramblings and you never disappoint.
Cheers Adam

I'm sure you're not short of recommendations for autobiographies, but one of my favourites is '45' by Bill Drummond (KLF). The story of his plan to build a cube of Tennant’s Super and distribute it to the audience of a screening of the £1 million burning film, which was to be projected onto the side of a multi-storey car park, is alone worth the entry price. A genius.

These top-level ramble-chats keep on coming! Going to check out that Al Kooper book and St Thomas documentary now, thanks for the recommendations.

The jingle about backing your car into another car and getting angry is so funny. I love all of the podcast stuff though to be honest! But that one seriously made me chuckle. Thanks for all the laughs!

THANK YOU FOR INCLUDING ALL THIS INFORMATION. I DON'T LIKE MAKING NOTES WHILE LISTENING, IT PREVENTS GIGGLING.

A note about Comments

Hello Podcats and Blog friends,

I wanted to let you know that comments have been disabled on the blog and the app for the time being. This is not because of anyone posting anything abusive or anything like that, but just because I seldom get round to moderating the stuff that comes in as promptly as I should, and rather than irritate people who don’t understand why their comment hasn’t been posted, I think it’s easier if I just switch them off. Sorry about that, but time is scarce and I’m disappointed to discover I can’t do everything! And if you’re one of the people who submitted a comment and it hasn’t been posted - sincere apologies.

Best wishes

Adam
