What happened to it?

If you're one of the people that downloaded the Adam Buxton app, thanks! I hope you got some enjoyment from it and didn't feel too enraged when it didn't turn out to be a non stop party of regularly updated bonus content, blog posts and amazing exclusives.

I'm very grateful to Kevin and Toby at Really Quite Something who did a great job developing the app and revamping my website for me back in 2017, but in the end I felt the app wasn't synergising with my preferred workflow methodologies (it was a bit beyond me technically) and I decided it was time for a fresh start.

I'm hoping this new website (built using Squarespace who sponsor the podcast of course!) is going to be a bit easier for me to add bits and pieces to from time to time. You should be able to find nearly everything that was on the app here somewhere as well as a few newly added sections too, and for the time being at least, everything is free to browse at your sexy, sexy leisure.

If you still have the Adam Buxton app on your device it should continue to work for a while but may not automatically update new podcast episodes and you shouldn't try to make purchases in the Bonus Audio section. Then one day the app will just go to sleep and never wake up. Don't be sad. It won't feel a thing and your life will carry on unaffected. It's not like when I paid about 80 quid for a Tom Tom navigation app and then after a couple of years they just decided to stop updating it so the maps started to become about as useful as the doodles of an untalented four year old. I've only just started to get over that.

Finally, if you submitted your email details via the Adam Buxton app then rest assured they have not been sold on to evil tech giants, or even nice tech giants. In fact if I get my act together I may even email you from time to time about upcoming shows and that kind of thing.  You never know.
